The Energy Transition – Grappling with the Challenges (recording of presentation on GenInsights21 to Smart Energy Council members and others)

On Tuesday last week (5th April 2022) both Jonathon Dyson and myself presented on some of what’s contained within our GenInsights21* report under the heading of ‘The Energy Transition – Grappling with the Challenges’, as noted ahead of time in this article.

* GenInsights21 was released on 15th December 2021 and which has been growing its readership since that time.  Dan Lee summarised some of the early media coverage we’d seen here a month ago.

From what we understand, there were several hundred people on the call, with the number of people registered to attend even higher.  We did what we could over about an hour to describe some of the key observations made in this 622-page report.  As a service to those who registered for the event, the Smart Energy Council recorded the event, with the recording available (at least for now?) on Vimeo here.

For ease of reference for our readers here at WattClarity, I’ve embedded the video here:

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank the Smart Energy Council (John Grimes and team) for organising/facilitating this event – and also to Jefferson Zhu of Solis for their sponsorship to enable the event to happen as a ‘free access’ event for all who participated.

As quick guide for the viewer/listener, please note the following sequence of coverage:
