After an earlier false start (which we understand was due to some form of memory leak in the upgraded LP Solver used within NEMDE) the AEMO have performed some remedial action and published Market Notice 109165 this afternoon to inform the market that (the current expectation is) the change to NEMDE that supports MaxAvail in the Bid for Semi-Scheduled units will go live from Monday next week, 7th August 2023.
The AEMO (separately) notes that…
‘Due to the large number of updates and changes required, implementation will be undertaken across a (maximum) two-day period.’
That will be a good thing…
About the enablement of Max Avail in the Bid for Semi-Sched units (from Monday 7th Aug 2023).
