A short synopsis of my brief presentation last week (Thu 19th May 2022) at CEC Large Solar Forum in Brisbane.
Clean Energy Council
On Thursday 17th March, Jonathon Dyson presented at the CEC Wind Industry Forum in Melbourne about the increasing role of auto-bidding and self-forecasting in the modern-day NEM. In this article, he shares some of the key points from that presentation.
Which wind farms performed best in 2020? Marcelle extracts data from the GSD2020 to compare spot (and LGC) revenue, and FCAS cost performance, across wind farms in the NEM.
Marcelle extends last week’s comparison of solar farm energy spot market revenue in 2020 by adding in an estimate of the LGC (green certificate) revenue.
Here’s three key insights to listen for this Thursday … when Marcelle Gannon speaks at the CEC’s Large-Scale Solar (virtual) Forum.
This is the first of a short series of video snippets extracted from the 17th September 2020 presentation by Marcelle Gannon and Jonathon Dyson for the Clean Energy Council entitled ‘Maximising Profitability in the NEM’ for Wind Farms.
Short note to follow presentation by Marcelle Gannon and Jonathon Dyson on Thursday 17th Sept 2020 to an audience organised by Clean Energy Council (CEC).
On Thursday 21st May, Marcelle Gannon and Jonathon Dyson jointly shared a large number of insights and tips to help those interested in developing and/or operating Large Solar Farms in the NEM maximise the value they receive. Useful also for those interested in Wind Farms (i.e. any Semi-Scheduled plant), and also hybrid operations using Batteries.
Some thoughts (triggered by the latest wave of focus on “cost” on social media this week) about why we need to rapidly shift our focus to what customers “value” and the market needs.
