Preparations underway, for next Wednesday’s presentation at Smart Energy Queensland

It’s not exactly last minute, but I do feel a bit behind schedule for determining exactly what to speak about under the topic of ‘Queensland’s changing grid’ at the upcoming ‘Smart Energy Queensland’ event that’s on Wednesday next week (14th September 2022) at the Brisbane Ekka Grounds.

Small steps first, as I start to put the presentation together:

As I’ve done with other presentations, I’d look to publish more about the insights shared in the session here via WattClarity.

However before I can think about doing that, I first need to decide what to speak about – frequent readers here will understand that it’s not so much a matter of not having anything to talk about but more the fact that there’s so much going on (some of which we’ve analysed in some detail) that we’re spoilt for choice:

1)  it might be that we share some particular details of what we analysed for GenInsights21

(a)  Noting that we already shared a reasonably amount already for the Smart Energy Council organised audience on 5th April under the title ‘The Energy Transition – Grappling with the Challenges’;

(b)  But also keeping in mind that we’re updating some of these pieces of analysis now more regularly for particular clients subscribed to a GenInsights Quarterly Updates.

2)  it might be sharing some of the insights we’ve gleaned from our own analysis of the 2022 Energy Crisis … contrasting and comparing the 8 factors identified by AEMO or the 9 factors identified by AER.

3)  or it might be something else entirely…

I have some ideas I am starting to work through … but if readers wanted to suggest something I’d be keen to hear?  Soon, please, for me to have a chance!
