At the time of writing on Tuesday (approximately 9:00am NEM time or 9:30am local time), temperatures in Adelaide have already climbed to around 43°C, helping keep demand high through the early hours. Earlier this morning, the SA region saw several brief price spikes between around 06:00 and 06:35, followed by two dispatch intervals of high prices around $14,000/MWh later in the morning, at 08:15 and 08:20 NEM time respectively.

Earlier LOR conditions forecast for SA this morning did not eventuate to an actual, but the region was hit with a short run of price spikes.
