EY-ROAM modelling for Queensland Energy Plan released

On Wednesday 28th September 2022, the Queensland Government launched its ‘Energy and Jobs Plan’ for the state of QLD, and the QLD region of the NEM.

In our article published at the time we listed and linked a range of the commentary we saw in response to this launch – in the Media, by Industry Organisations, and elsewhere.

It’s worth noting that Nick Cutler notified us via LinkedIn that the EY-ROAM modelling that supports the Queensland Energy Plan is now published on the Department of Energy website.   There are three documents to review:

Summary Report Modelling Jobs Plan

2022-09-27-EY-ROAM-SummaryReport

2022-09-23-EY-ROAM-ModellingOutcomes

2022-09-27-EY-ROAM-GreenerGrowth

There is a 12-page Summary Report to consider.

There is a 56-page report on ‘Electricity Market and Economic Modelling Outcomes’.

There is a 78-page ‘A plan for greener growth’ report.

I expect they will be reviewed with keen interest.
