AEMO publishes an Update to the 2022 ESOO

It’s Tuesday 21st February 2023, and the AEMO has released its update to the 2022 ESOO (Electricity Statement of Opportunities):

2023-02-21-AEMO-20222-ESOO-Update

Coincidentally, when posting this article yesterday evening about the current expectations for closure of Liddell and Eraring, I’d mentioned that this was coming, and reminded readers about the importantly-not-rhetorical question ‘What’s the purpose of the ESOO?’ that we we discussed in GenInsights21 about 14 months ago.

We’ll be reading this update with keen interest.
