Market Suspension to end at 14:00 on Friday 24th June 2022

Because many people are looking this morning, worth a short note with this snapshot of ez2view from the 07:40 dispatch interval showing two copies of the ‘NEM Prices’ widget:

2022-06-24-at-07-40-ez2view-SuspensionContinues

There’s essentially two main things to note, as at 07:40:

1)  The NEM is still under Market Suspension

… remembering that the AEMO had said there was going to be a monitoring period of at least 24 hours (i.e. from 04:05 yesterday) … and that they would see how it was performing and had said they might release it from Suspension at the earliest being 04:05 this morning (hasn’t happened yet)

2)  Furthermore there’s been no communication via Market Notice recently to update on that plan.

… so everyone needs to keep watching and waiting (for now).

PS1 at ~10:30 on Friday 24th June 2022

At 10:02 the AEMO published Market Notice 99369 informing Market Suspension would be lifted at 14:00 … so I gather the 14:05 dispatch interval will be the first ‘unsuspended’ price:
