The ‘Queensland Energy Roadmap 2025’ is released

Today (Friday 10th October 2025), as telegraphed ahead of time, the State LNP Government has released its ‘Queensland Energy Roadmap 2025’ as the replacement for the prior Labor Government’s ‘Queensland Energy & Jobs Plan’ from 2022;

I was a little surprised to see that the PDF of the Roadmap was only 56 pages (but then I see that the older QEJP was about the same length):

  1. I note sync condensers in the mix. They obviously have some doubts about grid forming inverters being able to completely meet grid strength needs. I wonder what their black start plan is?
