AEMO releases Incident Report on 25th May 2021 event emanating from Callide C4

Back on 25th May 2021, problems at the Callide C4 unit escalated to a wider issue that led to UFLS when multiple other units tripped offline in quick succession.  The Callide C4 unit is offline for repairs, and  not expected to be back online until early 2023.

To add to the  pieces of the puzzle being collated on WattClarity here about the event and the aftermath, it’s great to see that the AEMO has released its Incident Report into what happened on the day:

I notice that Christian Zuur has written ‘Never waste a good crisis – learnings from the Callide event of 25 May 2021’ on LinkedIn prompted by the release of the AEMO report.
