Also difficult to see any fluctuation in Mainland Frequency on Sunday morning 5th October 2025, with BW02 offline (two-shifting)

We’ve just published ‘Talk about two-shifting … such as with BW02 on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th October 2025’, and noted that:

‘This morning (Sunday 5th October 2025)  the BW02 unit was offline by 08:11 (NEM time, noting no daylight savings),’

Following from that article, we’ve also just noted (with an extract of System Frequency recorded at 0.1 second cadence) that it’s ‘Difficult to see any fluctuation in Mainland Frequency on Saturday morning 4th October 2025, with BW02 offline (two-shifting)’ … so was worth also looking at this morning’s outage (Sunday 5th October 2025) as follows:

2025-10-05-GridFrequency-BW02-Offline

We can see that a similar situation arose this morning – it’s difficult to see any downwards blip at all, in the 5-minutes prior to 08:11 this morning … and that’s a good thing!
