New lowest* point for NEM-wide Market Demand on Saturday 4th October 2025?

Another short morning article with a snapshot from NEMwatch at 10:55 on Saturday 4th October 2025, highlighting NEM-wide ‘Market Demand’ down at 9,393MW:

Don’t have time to comprehensively check, but this might be a new lowest ever* point for NEM-wide demand?

PS1 lowest point today was?

The day is still unfolding, but demand has started to climb into the afternoon – so it looks like the lowest point today for NEM-wide ‘Market Demand’ would have been the demand target of 9,155MW for the 12:00 dispatch interval.

We’ll need to check more systematically at another time (and specifically find priors) but it does look to be a new all-time* record low point.
