The NSW dispatch energy price jumped to 17,460 $/MWh in the 16:50 dispatch interval on 28 May, 2025.
The following capture from ez2view shows the volatility lasted until the 17:05 interval. At the time of writing the outlook was pointing towards lower prices into the evening.

Update: The dispatch price for 17:10 had dropped to 224 $/MWh. As of 17:20 the volatility had not returned.
