After last night’s blast of high prices in SA, we’ve seen several price spikes in the region late this afternoon. The highest spike so far occurred during the 15:45 dispatch interval where the RRP hit $9,899.50/MWh.

A rainy Saturday morning reminds us the price volatility for Q2 in QLD has not totally gone away … with elevated prices for ENERGY and also Contingency FCAS (Raise 6 second and Raise 60 second).
