How long was that Wind Lull in South Australia in June 2026?

We’ve noted that ‘the wind has awoken …’ through Wednesday evening 24th June 2026 and into Thursday morning 25th June 2026.

With this ‘Trends Engine’ chart in ez2view, we can see that the wind lull was almost exactly 4 days in duration:

* if we define a ‘Wind Lull’ as being below 10% aggregate instantaneous availability for the fleet (noting that the binary ‘Lull or Not?’ is quite subjective).

For ease of future reference:

1)  Zooming in and reading numbers off the chart:

(a)  This period began at was 16:25 (NEM time) on Saturday 20th June 2026

… when it dropped to 9.51%

(b)  And last dispatch interval below 10% in the series was 19:20 (NEM time) on Wednesday evening 24th June 2026

(c)  But, for the pedantic, note a few short blips just above 10% on Monday 22nd June 2026.
