Callide B2 commences return to service, Friday morning 13th June 2025

Approximately 8 hours after the return to service  journey at Loy Yang A1 commenced last night, a similar journey has been commenced at Callide B2 (which, you’ll recall from here, has been on a long planned outage).

We can see this captured in this alert from ez2view ‘Notifications’ widget at 07:06 (NEM time) on Friday 13th June 2025:

Using the ‘Bids & offers’ widget from ez2view this morning, we see the following – in terms of progression of output (and bids & rebids up until 04:00 this morning):

So that’s a welcome boost, with the cold weather (and low wind) continuing for a while longer … and remembering what the AEMO had earlier noted was forecast for next week.
