AEMO ELECTRICITY MARKET NOTICE

There is an opportunity for testing Heywood Interconnector (HIC) flow from South Australia to Victoria above 450MW and Victoria to South Australia above 450MW on 11th October from 8:00hrs to 19:00hrs

This test includes a trip and reclose of a line in South Australia.

Remember that PEC Stage 1 is being represented in NEMDE as ‘just’ an increase in capability of the Heywood interconnector.

 

It won’t be till PEC Stage 2 that we need to draw in a new interconnector to our range of software, this one between SA and NSW (like NEMwatch etc…) … possibly called NSW1-SA1?
