South Australia spikes, with Heywood unconstrained … with QLD under Administered Pricing

This one will take some head scratching later, but thought I would leave this NEMwatch snapshot at 19:10 with readers for the evening:

Per the earlier article:

1)  The QLD region is under Administered Pricing;

2)  However the SA price has spiked to $1,010.71/MWh

3)  Yet the VIC price (and NSW price) has dropped from 18:55 below $300/MWh with the advent of the Administered Pricing;

4)  And the Heywood interconnector is unconstrained.

Given the complexities of Administered Pricing, I’m sure we’ll continue to see some head-scratching outcomes…
