In amongst the Market Notices being published today by the AEMO, mostly pertaining to the situation today, was Market Notice 94355 published at 13:26:58 forecasting *possible* load shedding in the QLD region on Wednesday evening (i.e. tomorrow) with peak curtailment at 19:00 NEM time.  Here’s the notice:

EMO ELECTRICITY MARKET NOTICE
AEMO declares a Forecast LOR3 condition under clause 4.8.4(b) of the National Electricity Rules for the QLD region for the following period:

[1.] From 1900 hrs 02/02/2022 to 1930 hrs 02/02/2022.
The maximum load (other than interruptible loads) forecast to be interrupted is 79 MW at 1900 hrs.

AEMO is seeking a market response.

AEMO has not yet estimated the latest time it would need to intervene through an AEMO intervention event.
