A short post to note (and possibly refer back to) a burst of high spot prices in QLD and NSW this afternoon, starting from the 17:10 dispatch interval. This afternoon’s price action is a continuation of a pattern we’ve seen earlier this week—already on Monday and on Tuesday.

Wind production ramps down in NSW, coincident with Increased Demand (and then Actual LOR2)
