Voltage disruption (apparently) stemming from Port Augusta Renewable Energy Park Thursday morning 23rd June 2022

This morning I noticed this tweet from ElectraNet about some network voltage issues in South Australia in the early hours of the morning:

I did not have time to look any further amongst what data we have to see what it might be, but coincidentally saw this news report from Channel 7 early this evening that explained that it was related to some cause (not yet known) at the Port Augusta Renewable Energy Park:

Worth listening to the report (click on the link to load)  … as Minister Kousantonis and others mention therein, there could be a number of different root causes at the site….

(B) Trend of recent output

Using this pre-prepared query within NEMreview v7  we can have a quick look at how this project has been operating the past 7 days:

As can be clearly seen, the unit had been outputting up to 124MW consistently over a more than 24 hours spanning 19th June (and a little either side) and this morning had much reduced output.
