Has it happened again … have gremlins invaded NEMDE and triggered a frequency excursion (Tuesday 11th November 2025)?

In what seems to be a repeat of what happened last week Thursday 6th November 2025, where we suspect gremlins got into the input data for Victoria’s ‘Market Demand’ and delivered erroneous values – leading to a frequency excursion, it appears that the same thing might have just happened this morning (Tuesday 11th November 2025).

Here’s the a snapshot of the live frequency monitoring take in Brisbane at 0.1 second cadence:

… and here’s a snapshot of NEMwatch at the 09:20 dispatch interval (NEM time):

PS1 to help with timing…

To help with timing of the incident, I’ve added in here this capture of a ‘Notification’ widget alert triggered at 09:11 (NEM time) from our ez2view software that speaks to a very large drop (1,130MW) in ‘Market Demand’ for the 09:15 dispatch interval.
