Will I see you at the inaugural ‘NEMdev’ conference in Brisbane on Tue 7th and Wed 8th October 2025?

I made a note about this conference on a couple occasions previously – such as:

1)  On 7th August 2025 when posing the question ‘Would it even be possible – to operate the NEM to achieve 82% renewable energy in 2030 (if the Semi-Scheduled category continues in its current form)?’.

2)  On 23rd August 2025 when writing about these ‘Three broader questions (re)triggered by the Frequency Spike on Tuesday 19th August 2025’.

But worth a short note to point readers here to the current details about the conference – which is to be held in Brisbane on Tuesday 7th and Wednesday 8th October 2025:

As it currently stands, the agenda for the up-coming conference as follows:

Day 1
Tuesday 7th October 2025
Day 2
Wednesday 8th October 2025

Here’s the program, as it currently stands, for the 1st day:

Here’s the program, as it currently stands, for the 2nd day:

I can’t recall a similar conference being held previously (i.e. one that is part-academic but also part-‘RealWorld’, focused on the tricky questions about the energy transition) .  So I am intrigued to be involved.

Will we see you there?
