Ramping constraints in South Australia, with outage on Robertstown – Tungkillo 275 kV line 1 or 2

Apologies that this is a very short article that’s cryptic to many readers – but I walked into the office this morning to see one of our dashboards displaying the prototype of the ‘Congestion Map’ widget showing many DUIDs subject to bound constraints across all 4 mainland regions, but particularly in South Australia.

So I’ve snapped this image at the 07:45 dispatch interval (NEM time) on Wednesday 22nd January 2025, and might have time to revisit later:

With respect to two particular constraint sets noted in the ‘Bound Constraints’ widget:

1)   In South Australia, the ‘#R031786_RAMP’ is the ramping set for an outage on Robertstown – Tungkillo 275 kV line 1 or 2 (invoked for an hour this morning)

2)  In Queensland, the ‘#R031797_RAMP’ is the ramping set for an outage on Bouldercombe to Calliope River (812) 275kV line (invoked for an hour this morning).

3)  And there are plenty of other constraint sets shown as invoked and with constraint equations therein bound.

Nothing more, at this point.
