The continued heatwave afflicting the sunshine state has generated higher than normal weekend demand levels – and, with the ongoing presence of the 855-871 constraint and the effect of the reduction in capacity available (e.g. 2 units at Tarong, and Collinsville being decommissioned) delivered prices that have remained stubbornly high, as well.
