where we will be catching up with our Energy User clients
and also hearing directly from Energy Users about their current concerns in relation to the National Electricity Market.
Dan Lee is on one of the panel sessions during the first day (Wednesday 27th May 2026), and might be sharing some insights in relation to what we see happening in the NEM (perhaps even including recent activity).
Paul was one of the founders of Global-Roam in February 2000. He is currently the CEO of the company and the principal author of WattClarity. Writing for WattClarity has become a natural extension of his work in understanding the electricity market, enabling him to lead the team in developing better software for clients.
Before co-founding the company, Paul worked as a Mechanical Engineer for the Queensland Electricity Commission in the early 1990s. He also gained international experience in Japan, the United States, Canada, the UK, and Argentina as part of his ES Cornwall Memorial Scholarship.
On Thursday 17th March, Jonathon Dyson presented at the CEC Wind Industry Forum in Melbourne about the increasing role of auto-bidding and self-forecasting in the modern-day NEM. In this article, he shares some of the key points from that presentation.
It was the evening before the CEC’s AWIF for 2026, so we had an interest in attending this Networking event in Melbourne (on Monday 25th May 2026), held by Bureau Veritas.
After returning from COP29 in Baku, Dan shares his thoughts about energy transition challenges in international electricity markets, and how they intersect with what we’re seeing in the NEM.
