Frequency wobbles on Thursday afternoon 30th October 2025

We’ve just wrapped up a couple of busy days associated with  All Energy 2025 and other activities in Melbourne (during which a couple attendees, and readers, had a chat with me about the surprise they felt when viewing the trended stats in the recent article ‘Comparing AggROT for (44x) Coal Units with AggROT for Semi-Scheduled units through the history of the NEM’).

So it was a bit of a coincidence to check back on on a few data points and see some frequency wobbles this afternoon (Thursday 30th October 2025) in the following trend:

These frequency disruptions are ones we might look into in the coming days…
