Back on 16th January 2007 Victoria experienced a significant blackout to power supplies. I posted this initial review the next day, and then followed with more notes in March 2007.
As noted here later, the NOUS Group were commissioned by Victoria’s Department of Primary Industry to conduct a review of what happened, and why – with a focus on opportunities for improvement.
The report “16 January 2007 – electricity supply interruptions in Victoria – What happened and why, Opportunities and recommendations“ (image above) was published in October 2007 as one of a number of reports published about this event (although many of the links included in that post have since been broken due to organisational structure changes and the like).
