AEMO ‘Industry Go Live Plan’ for ERI and ST PASA Recall Period
Belatedly noting the AEMO's publication of the Industry Go Live Plan for the ERI and ST PASA changes.
2025-07-01 Enhancing Reserve Information (ERI)
On 21 March 2024, the AEMC made a final determination on the ‘Enhancing Reserve Information’ (ERI) rule change.
Under the reform, there are two key dates:
1) From 1st July 2025, two changes are to be made:
(a) Publication of previous day’s 5-min data for batteries
(b) Publication of daily energy limits (total availability) for scheduled generators at the start of the trading day
2) From 1st July 2027, AEMO is to publish energy availability of batteries (i.e. state of charge in MWh), aggregated by region, each DI.
