Large (+405MW) jump in ‘Market Demand’ in NSW on Thursday 20th February 2025

We’ve already written about ‘A curious case of some ‘rogue’ sky-high P5 price forecasts for NSW on Thursday 20th February 2025’ … so it’s also worth noting that the same alert from the ‘Notifications’ widget in ez2view also triggered this morning for the a jump in ‘Market Demand’ in NSW form the 09:35 dispatch interval to the 09:40 dispatch interval (NEM time):

Note that (with reference to the earlier article) this was before the jump down, which was just short of 400MW in magnitude so did not trigger the same alert.
