This is a short post to note that an actual LOR1 condition is now present in NSW, as per Market notice 121089 posted just a few minutes ago.
For those who need reminding, an LOR1 condition represents that reserve levels are lower than aggregate of the two largest units in the region. This WattClarity page provides background to the difference between forecast and actual LOR conditions, and what the three levels represent.

Actual Lack Of Reserve Level 1 (LOR1) in the NSW region - 27/11/2024
An Actual LOR1 condition has been declared under clause 4.8.4(b) of the National Electricity Rules for the NSW region from 1430 hrs.
The Actual LOR1 condition is forecast to exist until 1630 hrs.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1370 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 710 MW.
