Dan Lee’s reflections about ‘the year that was in 2023’ via the WattClarity insight service

With the holiday period upon us at Global-Roam Pty Ltd, most of the team are taking a break … a skeleton staff continuing to support our software and data services.

Before he headed off, Dan Lee posted these reflections on ‘the year that was (i.e. 2023)’ via this WattClarity® service, which we freely share insights we uncover about what’s happening in the National Electricity Market.  You can find Dan’s summary of 2023 here on the company website:

We have appreciated the opportunity to serve … including working with internal authors (including both Dan and Linton, with others behind the scenes) and a large and growing number of guest authors (including Allan O’Neil, Tristan Edis, David Leitch, Nick Bartels, Bruce Miller, Tom Geiser, Ryan Esplin, Jonathon Dyson, Kate Summers, Blake Ashton, and Aditya Upadhye … and possibly others we forgot to tag as ‘guest authors’ at the time* ) to also share their insights with our ever-growing number of readers.

* to any untagged guest authors we extend our apologies for overlooking that at the time.

With Dan’s article published yesterday I thought it was useful referencing it in here … and astute readers will also be aware this brings me one close to that double century for 2023!

Looking forward to 2024 – hopefully not too many challenges in the NEM … though, looking at available evidence, we can’t be too confident of that!
