Brief burst of volatility in QLD and NSW on Wednesday 17th May 2023

Here’s a snapshot from NEMwatch at 18:00 with prices subsided again, but still showing the general market conditions at the time:

Even at this time, the colour alert is still showing for the low IRPM for the ‘QLD+NSW Economic Island’ formed by constrained flow on the VIC1-NSW1 interconnector.

Nothing further, at this point.
