Return to service struggles at Vales Point 5

Another thing that happened Christmas Day 2025 was the initial output from Vales Point 5, which has been offline since August 2025 following ‘turbine vibrations’.

One ‘Notification’ widget alert in ez2view captured first output at 14:41 (NEM time) on Thursday 25th December 2025:

Now that it’s Friday 26th December 2025 and we can look at ‘next day public data’ I took a quick look with ‘Bids & Offers’ widget in ez2view to see what else was visible:

Plenty of reference to ‘auxiliary plant failure’ in the rebids, which is seeming to limiting its capability to low load operations, including for the week ahead.  So this story is not over, yet.
