Queensland’s minimum ‘Market Demand’ point drops lower still, on Sunday 31st August 2025

Worth a quick note with a NEMwatch snapshot at 10:35 (NEM time) on Sunday 31st August 2025 to mark the ‘lowest ever*’ point for ‘Market Demand’ nudging lower still in the Queensland region:

This point (2,886MW) is lower than the point noted on Sunday 17th August 2025 in the article ‘New ‘lowest ever’ point for ‘Market Demand’ in Queensland, on Sunday 17th August 2025’

… and also lower than the (briefly) new lowest point yesterday, Saturday 30th August 2025.

It looks like the lowest point for ‘Market Demand’ today was 2,656MW at the 11:20 dispatch interval.
