On Saturday (14th June 2025) we noted ‘With some wobbles, Bayswater Unit 4 coming back online – Saturday 14th June 2025’, and it’s good to see Bayswater unit 4 back online with PASA Avail at 685MW.
Worth noting that sibling unit BW01 came offline on Sunday afternoon 15th June 2025, as captured at the time in the ez2view ‘Notifications’ widget at 15:31 (NEM time), as shown here here:
Using the ‘Next Day Public’ data set for bids for yesterday, we can see a bit more with the ‘Bids & Offers’ widget in ez2view with this snapshot at 07:45 (NEM time) on Monday 16th June 2025:
We can see a series of rebids made from 14:23 (NEM time) that relate to the unit issues.
Waiting for this morning’s 09:00 update to the MT PASA DUID Availability data set, here’s the ‘Generator Outages’ widget in ez2view at the 10:50 (NEM time) dispatch interval this morning:
With respect to this image:
1) We see that current expectation is that the unit will be back up and running for Sunday 22nd June 2025;
2) But the MT PASA DUID Availability data set is ‘stale’ before that day …
(a) that’s because of the cadence of the data updates
(b) which is why we’re keenly awaiting the 31st July 2025 go-live date for ST PASA changes … and have released ez2view version 9.12 to cater for this.
3) Also highlighted is that there are ‘3 units at Yallourn offline today’.
