Unplanned outage at Callide C3 extended by 3 days – to Monday 2nd June 2025

Worth a short note to flag this change as seen in the ‘Generator Outages’ widget in ez2view at the 15:30 dispatch interval (NEM time) on Monday 19th May 2025:

Coincident with this move in the AEMO-published MT PASA DUID Availability data set, CS Energy has published the following:

1)  On their News sub-site the release ‘CS Energy elects to complete pre-emptive work on Callide C3’; and

Many readers will recall that (as noted earlier) the CPP_3 unit came offline on Friday 4th April 2025 due to clinker issues.
