Gladstone unit 2 switches offline, on Wednesday evening 22nd January 2025

One of our ez2view alerts (i.e. the one for ‘coal unit switches off’) configured in the ‘Notifications’ widget triggered at 19:31 (NEM time) on Wednesday evening 22nd January 2025 as shown here:

As we see, it’s the Gladstone Unit 2 in QLD that’s come offline (whilst prices remain high, and an ‘Actual LOR2’ forecast to have ended half an hour earlier).  Opening the ‘Unit Dashboard’ widget in ez2view we see the following:

We can’t see bids and rebids until ‘Next Day Public’ data is released, so it will be an interesting one to look at!
